“Happy Work, Healthy Life” Running Activity

In September 2020, our company organized “Liyang Team Building Activity”, the general manager announced a rule: the first team to reach the peak and recorded a video as evidence who would win a pair of gym shoes as the reward for each team member. Because it is difficult in defining the climbing performance, the general manager extended the award scope to all employees of our company, that is, from September 8 to October 8, who run up to the standard can receive the award, and the standard is: men who run 5 km within 30 minutes, and women who run 5 km within 35 minutes.
As soon as the activity was published, the Ding Talk became active which almost only working communication in usual. Everyone was enthusiastic and expressed to participate in the challenge, even some colleagues started to date each other to run instantly. It is easy for someone who often run, but it can be a bit difficult for others who never do exercise. There are 155 employees in the company, how many employees can surprise us in one month which is in suspense.
In September 9th, the first achiever appeared on the second day. She was Liu Wenya, the manager of the finished products warehouse. She was a good start and Her running result is 28 minutes and 8 seconds. She often runs, she has a lot of running friends and always participates in the marathon. Although she retired in May this year, she can run the level of a man, it was amazed for us. Of cause, it is also in expected.
Manager Liu’s wonderful performance brings more confidence and strength to everyone. During the following days, more and more people showed the screenshots and photos in the Ding Talk who reached the standard, it let others admire and envy. Of cause, although others didn’t reach the standard temporarily, they still showed their running status, as if to give themselves a hint for everyone to monitor themselves and witness their success.
During that time, it often can meet our company’s employee on the playground in Jiangyin Sports Center. They encouraged each other and communicated the running skills. Running is more of a test of determination and endurance. With mutual encouragement, even if failed to reach the target once, still had the motivation and confidence to finally achieve the goal through constant practice. Someone chose to run along the Greenway, and appreciated beautiful scene. Someone chose to run near their house with their family members, one led the others to run, it not only exercise themselves, but also promoted the relationship. Furthermore, although the staff of the sales department are often on business trips, they are also actively involved in the activity. In another city, we can also see the Jiangyin Changjiang’s staff running.
